Anna-Jane Eathorne, a twenty five year old native of Penticton, attained her LPGA Tour card by tying for top medallist honors at the final round of the tournament. In the 1996-97 season A.J. was the Big West Conference Champion and the Big West Player of the year. A.J. graduated with honours from the New Mexico State with a Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing. She is a 2-time Academic All American. She was given the honour of Athlete of the Year in 1998 from the University.
