U19 Women's National Soccer Team Wipes Out Competition in Exhibition Games

Canada’s U19 (under 19) National Women’s Soccer team is basking in the glow of victory after defeating their Italian rivals, 5-0 in Oshawa, Ontario in early June.

The defeat was the third and final one for Canada. They first squared off against Italy in this Ontario-based exhibition series on May 30th in Burlington, boasting a clean 4-0 win. They followed this up with a 3-1 win over the Italians in Vaughan before finally claiming the series on June 4th.

After a short break, the U19 team is off to the Maritimes where they will play three straight games against Mexico- beginning July 1st in St. John, New Brunswick.
